I didn't know that people from all over the world were so interested in Korean politics. Everyone I meet is ridiculous and asks me about the situation in Korea. Today, I was talking with Americans who I've known for quite a while and heard, "The Korean president is a very dangerous job. It ends in one of prison, murder, and suicide." That's true.
It's an imperial presidential failure, I acknowledged. But with a little love for the country, I asked back, "By the way, should Donald Trump be in prison or should he be president?" Their answer was, of course, prison. I said, "This is the difference between our country and yours. What do you think is right?"
They paused for a moment as if they had been hit by reality. Trump then began to resent him, saying that he was elected president and dramatically avoided prison after using trial delay techniques. He said that after the presidential term, the statute of limitations on some counts will end.
I answered like this. Do you want me to tell you something interesting? But there is a great person in Korea who uses the same tactics now. There is no democracy where he belongs, so he can do whatever he wants. So even if the president of the Republic of Korea does such a ridiculous thing or his party actively advocates it, the party approval ratings are similar again between the two parties. Isn't it amazing? Korea is a really dynamic country. I know it, but I don't know it.
Unimaginable, but the feasible scenario is that the current president is going to jail soon, the next president is going to start his trial again after his term in office, and end up in jail. Continuing the brutal history of the president of the Republic of Korea. What would you do?
