Three months ago. I still remember the moment when I first heard the news of Yoon Suk Yeol's emergency martial law. Emergency martial law? It was not a riot or a North Korean military offensive. It was a matter of fact that there was no disturbance. The word "monsterlike" that jumped out like a frog that ended its hibernation for the first time in 45 years was truly amazing. The second thing that surprised me was Yoon Suk Yeol's obsession.

He really saw pro-North Korean forces as the dominant force in the country, as a grave threat, as the object of "fighting" that could not live beyond a single sky. He defined almost half of the people as those who saw them as targets to beat, or at least at the mercy of those who deserved them. He used extreme adjectives such as "shameless" and appealed for his justification and urgency by using extreme rhetoric such as "blood vomit."

In his long and detailed statement to the Constitutional Court, he gives "the basis" for his argument. There are rumors about election rigging, but the grounds were not false. It is not a lie that the organizing director of the largest labor organization in Korea, called the Korean Confederation of Trade Unions, contacted North Korean intelligence agents and received money from them (though this is something that the suspect will argue over at trial, but the organizations circulated the brochures that they received from the North Korean intelligence agencies. There was a time when old Juche (self-reliance) who was still obsessed with it tried to stand up to North Korea and ripped off the world's poorest countries' intelligence agencies.

When you mix these trivial deviations with your opposition, combine your facts with 99 exaggerations and falsehoods to stigmatize everything you do against you, and try to force those who confront you into violence rather than discussion, coordination, consideration and acceptance, Yoon Suk Yeol's "anti-state force" becomes nothing more than a stake in the air. It becomes a delusion.

Rather than because the facts of the argument are completely wrong, the desire to abuse the facts for one's own legitimacy and brand them as unjust and unjust to the other party is a delusion.

  I thought this was also a "delusion" when representative Lee Jae-myung claimed that some members of the Democratic Party of Korea (with the prosecution) did "it on purpose" during the vote on the National Assembly's arrest agreement in September 2023 and said, "There is no evidence and I guess." When he said that his request to vote down was "to reveal who voted for it," and when he said to them, "I thought that the members and the people would be held accountable."

  It is only speculation, as Chairman Lee Jae-myung said. He is stubborn but vulnerable as Yoon Suk Yeol screams that pro-North Korean forces are controlling this country. He also denies various interpretations and opinions on his arrest resolution, which he said would give up lawmakers' privileges. He clearly expresses his intention to identify who votes by asking voters to vote for a negative vote, and defines it as a target for which party members and the public should be held accountable.

I think this is a delusion. It's Yoon Seok-yeol's delusion that says, "If you ignore me, everything is watermelon." Just as Yoon Suk Yeol is not a country, Lee Jae-myung is not a democracy. Just as resisting the rule of Yoon Suk Yeol is not an anti-state force, it does not mean that you become an anti-democracy force just because you agreed to the resolution to arrest Lee Jae-myung. Just as those who oppose Yoon Suk Yeol are not "shameless pro-North Korean forces that deserve to be eradicated," it is difficult to brand the opposition to Lee Jae-myung's move as "groups that use the party as a tool of private desire and engage in secret transactions with opposing parties or violent groups."

  Lee Jae-myung is the closest person to the next president, although he is said to be the only one who is impeached after suffering from alcohol withdrawal, which is close to mental and physical weakness. He is the one who said he would honor and care for the hearts of the people who were torn apart and take the helm of the Republic of Korea by breaking through the international situation in which an ultra-monster named Trump appeared. Those who cut him off from the nomination despite his unreasonable demands. He thought that the reason he met those who were "insulting" and held hands to talk about harmony was because he understood the gravity of his responsibility.

But what does this mean? If you quote Lee Jae-myung, does it mean, "Did you really think I would be in harmony?" As someone commented, do you think Lee Jae-myung will definitely get rid of the "Watermelons" if he becomes the president? People who shake hands, laugh and embrace him, I have been working for the same party for a long time, and that's a metaphor. If Lee Jae-myung, who is from Gyeongsang Province, is fighting off people who have been hurt in their bodies and minds as "watermelons," how can we blame the "delusion" of the Yoon Suk Yeol?

As I watch Lee Jae-myung, I have one of the most pressing and confusing questions. "Is he a democrat?" I mean, is he someone who understands democracy, broadens it, polishes it, tightens it, and greases it so much that it will be much softer for us? I hope he will be able to affirm it to himself. I hope so. Otherwise, it will be a tragedy for the country and for the individual. At least, I hope it will not resemble a Yoon Suk Yeol.
