<So cowardly, that's why it's more dangerous>

1. On the night of the 3rd, when I go back to work after seeing the announcement of the emergency martial law, I think I might not be able to come home for a while. The children and their wives may not be able to go out for quite a long time, so check your food at home and tell them to go out and buy it now if they don't have it. First of all, they thought that Kakao Talk would be cut off, so they downloaded a telegram to their children and created a group chat room to build a contact network. The children were in fear for the first time in their lives and contacted them until early in the morning that their father was not coming home (they ended up not coming home that day), and almost all Koreans had no choice but to spend an uncomfortable night with worry and fear.

2. Looking back, Trump held a press conference not only on January 6, 2021, the day of the Capitol riot, but also the day after. He promised to disband peacefully on the day after, and to transfer power in an orderly manner on the next day. (Of course, he did not admit his defeat.) Many people around Trump asked for calm down protesters, and Trump accepted the request. Trump also announced a message to appease the public by acknowledging that the tide has turned over and protecting his self-esteem.

3. Trump was tempted to declare martial law right after the 2020 presidential election. There are also many conspiracy theorists around Trump. There are so many people who say that losing the presidential election is due to election fraud that Trump is leaning towards them. Michael Flynn, the first national security adviser, used to say that martial law should be imposed and the presidential election should be held again, but Trump rejected the possibility, calling it "fake news." Clever Trump knew exactly how martial law was not a card that a sitting president could use. (Instead, he attempted to upset his supporters and overturn the election due to unrest.)

4. Former Defense Minister Kim Yong-hyun said in an interview with SBS today that the reason why he sent martial law troops to the election watchdog was to determine the necessity of investigation into election fraud. He thought that there was no one in the system who argued for election fraud, but that was only an illusion. It also means that the minister in charge of the ruling party distrusted and tried to attack the election system itself, which is the basis of democracy. It also means that President Yoon Suk Yeol, who declared martial law, is mired in such conspiracy theory.

5. Conspiracy theorists have something in common. Very cowardly. Not being chosen by the people, low approval ratings, not looking for the cause of the problem for themselves, but looking for an excuse to cover up their shortcomings until the end. Plus, on social media, these losers can easily meet other losers who understand them. Conspiracy theories that cheat cowardice can easily expand the count.

6. After the martial law ended, President Yoon Suk Yeol had high expectations that he would stand in front of the public and explain his sincere apology and how it happened. He thought it would be normal for an elected authority, not an absolute authority, to include such a concept. People who were surprised and scared on that day have every right to hear such explanations. However, he seems to be trying to protest that there are no legal issues at all, given that he dismissed Minister Kim Yong-hyun, who hid in the presidential office and executed the order.

7. It's really hard to think that there's nothing wrong with the knife and the sword being swung and not injured. No one was hurt that day because of protests from citizens who knew it was very abnormal, and the negligence of soldiers who were deployed at the scene. We cannot avoid a serious crime just by sending soldiers protecting us to the National Assembly and the election watchdog to threaten the public. Minister Kim Yong-hyun confirmed in an interview with SBS that the intention was to prevent lawmakers from voting to lift martial law. He admitted to the crime of rebellion by himself. If he succeeded, it would have been impossible to sit down and write messages on social media.

8. Nevertheless, former Minister Kim Yong-hyun said, "This is not just cowardice but fearfully dangerous. It is hard to understand why a person who lives with freedom in his mouth tried to restrict freedom of the people who are sovereign. (President Yoon cannot even expect such a situation.) It is lamentable that people who are both frugal and dangerous have been leading the Republic of Korea.
