🌱 I had my first rare experience since investing in stocks yesterday ❗️
Most of the U.S. quantum stocks were halved (-50%), with the upper limit (?) in that one event. 🫢
In other words, the "D-Wave" stock fell horribly. When it fell to -51%, I thought it was too much, so I bought some of it. Quantum stock slept comfortably to invest from a long-term perspective, and in the morning, its closing price stopped at -36%.
From the perspective of non-shareholders, I know that +15% (-51% > -36%) was profitable, but in fact, +30% was profitable, so it is a "upper price" based on Korean stocks. ^^
There are a lot of cases like this, but I'd like to start with a simple one,
Quiz 1) What's the bottom line if you lose 90% the first day, and 90% the next day? In a nutshell, I think it's the bottom line,
✔️ The answer is -81 percent loss.
Quiz 2) What is the average annual return if you earn 50% in Year 1 and Year 2, respectively, and lose 50% in Year 3?
The general public thinks it's going to be 50% profitable,
✔️ The answer is only 4% per year.
Quiz 3) If this rate is 90% and 90% what is the annual return?
I don't know the ratio, but it seems that it will have made a lot of profit,
✔️ The answer is an annual average loss of -28.8%!
If you think about Quiz 1), you can see this.
It's the busiest time around midnight when the head of the United States starts, and I'm introducing it like this because tonight is closed ^^
In the post below last month, it was said that a short-term plunge was expected, but in fact, the next day (December 19) also plunged by about 50% from the previous day's high point. It tripled again in the three weeks after falling to a cliff like that! (Reggie $7 > $21 & $10 again due to yesterday's crash) 😱
Of course, this crash is expected to take a much longer time to recover. However, from a long-term investor's point of view, the longer this period, the more buying opportunities there are, so it may be good. This is because it is never easy to seize a buying opportunity if you suddenly soar after a crash like last time!
... Everything depends on how you think about it. 🤔 🌱 My stock investment story
I bought the stock for the first time at the end of 1980. I still remember buying Southeast Securities, which is now gone, for 27,000 won and selling it for 54,000 won. The dot-com bubble burst and I lost hundreds of millions of won and removed the account. 😥
After that, he was busy working at the company for about 20 years, so he resumed his account three years ago ahead of his retirement. Since he invested mainly in growth technology, most of the stocks he invested in fell to 1/10, and he withdrew from the 1/3 level. Therefore, it is an average of 30% compared to the initial investment over the past three years. ^^
U.S. stocks began by buying Nvidia and IonQ three years ago. As a typical growth technology, IonQ continued to sell off while falling to 1/10th of a degree, but continued to buy whenever there was a chance. Despite this process, quantum stocks were always the first item of interest ❗️
Quantum stock is, in a nutshell, a High Risk High Return! Earnings are minimal, and all companies are in the red. For the most part, a decline of 1/10 is basic, and Arkit Quantum started at $1,038 three years ago and then fell to $3.72 three months ago, falling to about 1/30. If you invested W100 million, you only have W3 million left. 😱
But I think it's better than cryptocurrency. This is because quantum computing still exists even though Bitcoin has no substance. However, it is never easy to make proper sales or profits for the next five years. If 0 and 1 bits are two lanes, it is correct to say that qubits are more than 100 lanes. You can see how difficult it is to widen your path.
Nevertheless, the good thing about Quantum is that it is the "key to the jackpot" between the U.S. and China to become the final winners in the competition! So, in the long run, it is expected to rise and fall like Bitcoin over the next five years! So, it has been steadily collecting!!
However, in the short term, a sharp decline is expected soon. It's because it's gone up too much! Since August, quantum leader IONQ has gone up seven times, quantum stock NVIDIA has gone up 20 times, D-Wave has gone up 12 times, and Quantum Computing has gone up 55 times, with zero sales and a huge deficit. If you invested 100 million won in this stock, you would have simply left 5.5 billion won! 👍 Increasing trading volume is encouraging, but seeing short selling accumulate, I have a hunch that there will be a cliff soon!
Quantum stock is the second cryptocurrency, and the biggest holding of the Righetti is the second Bitcoin! Whether or not the Righetti will become the Nvidia of Quantum stock is anyone's guess at this stage. However, as Google announced, we believe AI and Quantum will complement each other and continue to improve, so we are very hopeful from a long-term perspective! The end result will be available by 2030! 🤔
