Elon Musk, the head of Tesla

Elon Musk, the head of Tesla, SpaceX, and X and co-leader of the Trump administration's Department of Government Efficiency (DOGE), appeared live on video at the site of the German far-right party Alternative für Deutschland (AfD) election campaign in Halle, Germany, on Jan. 25.

The AfD is considered the first far-right political party to emerge in Germany since Hitler's Nazi. They won 10.3% of the 2021 German federal elections. They oppose feminism and eco-friendly policies such as renewable energy policies, citing anti-immigration, anti-Islam, and German nationalism, such as reducing the EU's authority and opposing refugee acceptance as major policies. I don't think I'm the only one who comes to mind.

Here, Elon Musk said live, "We should go beyond the guilt of the past," or "We should not lose pride in multiculturalism," which is proud of German culture and values and dilutes them. It is a story that is exactly in line with the policy direction of the AfD and is also in line with the Trump administration's policy in the United States.

It seems to be in the same vein as the nonsense of some pro-Japanese group politicians that we have a future and develop beyond the past, and that we should go to an era of inclusion through forgiveness. Why do you force forgiveness on the victim when the perpetrator confesses his wrongdoing, reflects on himself, and does not show his change.

After World War II, Germany thoroughly reflected on and apologized for their war crimes, including the Holocaust. Japan did not do that. From here on out, it is wrong.

When talking about Tesla, he acknowledged Elon Musk's genius and innovation he made, but criticized the individual's actions. He was not a responsible person as a representative of the company. From 'all geniuses are like that' to 'Don't fight for nothing', to 'human beings like you hinder innovation'.

Does that comment really come from his genius? There are concerns from various overseas articles that the remarks, "There should be no obstacles to the excellence of Germany beyond the guilt of the past," are not much different from Hitler's rejection of Jews by emphasizing the excellence of the Aryan people. That's why the picture of that article is also exquisitely written about Hitler's beard. It is in the same vein to say to the German far-right party that American Elon makes such a statement and that he only supports far-right parties in Europe.

I think what happened in the past without properly scolding or criticizing Elon's trivial nonsense created the current appearance. Geniuses without morality and reason are dangerous. The cartoons we've seen since we were young, and the villains in the latest movies are like that.

Personally, I've been arguing and thinking for quite some time that Elon Musk should step down as Tesla's head of management. His genius should be changed to a company that can only be used for technological advancement. It's an owner risk that's a little different from our country. If you're really thinking about the stock price, and you want Tesla to continue its self-driving and innovation.

It's a pity.
