The world is now focusing on the 25% tariffs it imposes on Trump on Canada/Mexico.

Korea is a traditional relay trading country and a manufacturing powerhouse. In recent years, Korea's trade with China has decreased a lot (to be decreased further) and trade with the U.S. has increased a lot. It coincides with the Biden administration, such as the Semiconductor Act and the IRA Act, and the Korean government's intentional choice (which clearly goes into the original plan of the U.S. rather than single-line diplomacy), and it also coincides with China's increased competitiveness in shipbuilding, chemical, semiconductor, and consumer products.

There is a reason why Korea rose to the ranks of advanced countries because it was riding a tiger called China. Of course, before that, Park Chung-hee's export-oriented industrialization strategy was followed by Japan's repayment loan and the Vietnam War, and I believe that Roh Tae-woo's normalization of diplomatic relations with China, Roh Moo Hyun's FTA, China-U.S. balance in Moon Jae In (which coincided with Trump), and Yoon Suk Yeol's pro-U.S. were all the right choices.
