[Four criminal convictions with Lee Jaemyung]
Since there are a lot of Protestants around me, I often hear that the reason why some Protestants say they can't take Lee Jae-myung is because of the "Four Crimes of War" and the so-called "Rip" problem.
So today, I'm going to talk about Lee Jae-myung's "Four Crimes of War".
1. The first criminal record was caused by the 2002 Bundang Parkview repurposing and preferential sale of apartments.
At that time, 16 government officials, including Gyeonggi Province Governor Lim Chang-yeol and the director of the Ministry of Land, Infrastructure and Transport, were arrested due to the preferential sale of Parkview in Bundang.
Lee Jae-myung, a lawyer and civic activist at the time, was the one who exposed the Bundang Park View issue. (The investigative prosecutor in charge was Kwak Sang-do, the special chief of the Suwon District Prosecutors' Office.)
The PD, who was covering the case, impersonated the prosecutor on the phone with Seongnam Mayor Kim Byung-ryang, and Lee Jae-myung was fined 1.5 million won for not stopping him from impersonating the prosecutor while standing next to him, which eventually remained a criminal record.
2. The second criminal record was submitted to the city council in 2004 by a civic group represented by Lee Jae-myung in the form of a resident ordinance after receiving signatures from 200,000 citizens to establish a public medical center in Seongnam, but it was discarded in 47 seconds by the Saenuri Party (the predecessor of the Good Him Party), which controlled the Seongnam City Council.
In response, enraged citizens protested violently at the city council, and Lee Jae-myung was fined 5 million won for being accused of accomplice because he was the representative of a civic group.
Eventually, Lee Jae-myung decided to put down the life of a civic activist and play politics with this incident, and later established Seongnam City Hospital after being elected mayor of Seongnam.
3. It is the third time that he was sentenced to 500,000 won for violating the election law while handing out business cards at a subway station.
4. The last and fourth criminal record is that he was fined for cracking down on drunk driving when he was a civic activist in the past.
====
- As can be seen above, the 1st and 2nd cases are those caused by public interest activities.
Why should Lee Jae-myung be particularly harsh only on the criminal record he gained during the civic movement compared to the past when former activists entered politics with the criminal record obtained during the student movement as a medal?
- It is common for politicians to be fined for handing out business cards during elections, and if Lee Jae-myung was not an opposition politician with a strong hatred toward the government during the Lee Myung Bak and Park Geun Hye, he would have moved on without making any problems.
- Lee Jae-myung has repeatedly apologized for drunk driving.
====
South Korea's law stipulates that fines have no problem in applying for civil service appointment exams or entering public office.
Lee Jae-myung's criminal record and all four were fined.

As shown in Byun Hee-jae's accompanying text below, how can we justify the fact that Korean Protestants gave Lee Myung Bak a whopping 90 percent or more votes in the 2007 presidential election?
The Lee Myung Bak is 11 offences.
