Today, we met with APR's IR team and received an update on our home beauty devices. Our main recap is summarized below.
JANUARY-Feb home beauty device exports up 179% year-on-year as they prepare for overseas launch
Exports of home beauty devices increased 179 percent year-on-year in January and February combined. We think of APR's exports as related to APR's revenue trend, because APR's exports account for 51 percent of revenue in 2023. APR is preparing for the Booster Pro launch in March by shipping their products abroad in January and February. Year-on-year growth is mainly recognized through January and February, when they showed high growth rates due to preparation for launch. APR will recognize revenue when customers purchase their products in stock.
Booster Pro to be launched in March in the United States, Japan, Hong Kong, and Singapore
Once the Booster Pro is released, APR will stop selling the Ayrshot and Booster Healer. Therefore, from March 2024, sales of the Ayrshot/Booster Healer will stop, which, according to its administrator, will only stop in Korea. APR is starting sales of the Booster Pro in the U.S., Japan, Hong Kong, and Singapore, and will enter the Chinese market in 2024. A new RF home beauty device called HomeTune will be released in April.
