Hello, this is the ISC IR team. Our preliminary results for the first quarter of the year will be released this morning, so we are informing you.

The company recorded sales of 35.1 billion won, operating profit of 8.6 billion won, and net profit of 15.8 billion won in the first quarter, with sales of 40%, operating profit of 242% and net profit of 706%, respectively, compared to the previous quarter.

Sales and operating profit fell in the same period last year, but they are showing good performance in terms of quality.

1. Share of sales of AI semiconductors: 25%, up 59% quarter-on-quarter and 387% year-on-year.

- Generative AI Semiconductor Test Socket Sales: KRW 61.5 billion in the first quarter, up 259% year-on-year and 86.4% quarter-on-quarter.

- On-device AI semiconductor test socket sales: KRW 1.76 billion in the first quarter, down 20% from the previous quarter. This is on the recovery track from the second quarter due to smartphone sales.

2. Guidance

- This year's guidance maintains 250 billion won in sales and 30% operating profit, showing a trend of cascading growth from the second quarter.

- Non-memory data center orientation is expected to maintain a solid trend, and smartphones are expected to grow in earnest from the third quarter.

- As the proportion of non-memory mass production accelerates, orders for CPU and GPUs from North American customers are increasing rapidly, and both sales and operating profit are expected to grow significantly from the second quarter. Common Sense of the Day

It takes an average of eight months from the last rate hike by the Fed to the first rate cut. If it is currently frozen for 10 consecutive months, it should be cut once within this year, if not, history will be rewritten.
