Korea lags behind in "AI competition"
우리나라는 Ai분야에서 살아남을 수 있을까?
Most of us are aware of the reality that the food of the future lies in the life-sheng type AI.
But we should pay attention to the fact that Korea is lagging behind in the international "AI competition."
黃 勳, the founder and current CEO of NVIDIA, an American company that instantly topped $2 trillion in market capitalization and has grown to become the world's third-largest company in the wake of the "AI" sensation, has been visiting Taiwan frequently and announced in June that he would build a data center in southern Taiwan to employ 1,000 engineers
Since NVIDIA virtually exclusively controls more than 80% of the semiconductors needed in the AI era, everyone has to bend their heads to NVIDIA and buy the core semiconductors they need to develop AI
Nevertheless, the reason why "Jensen Huang" stepped up first and worked with Taiwan is that the Taiwanese manufacturing ecosystem specializes in so-called "Electronic Manufacturing Services," which specializes in production, so-called OEM production, rather than manufacturing branded finished products
This is because it was judged to be advantageous for collaboration with NVIDIA
"Jensen Huang" attended a computerx event in Taipei, Taiwan, in June this year, arguing that AI is not just a "semiconductor revolution," but a "new industrial revolution."
Will the Korean economy, which is caught up in real estate, 落伍 in the "new industrial revolution"?
