1. The most famous American gang that protected Trump, who failed in the 2020 presidential election, was the Proud Boys. Asked if he could condemn the white supremacist group at the presidential debate, Trump became a pro-Trump gang when he ordered the Proud Boys to stand by. The group had always appeared at the scene of a large-scale protest against the presidential election held in Washington, D.C., leading the violence at night. When I first spotted them at the protest site, I chased them and asked for an interview, but I also remember being warned not to pursue them while covering my hands with the camera.

2. The group's uniforms were those of Fred Perry with the yellow logo on a black background. The Proud Boys were all wearing the same shirt and covering their faces with a yellow hood. As the Proud Boys became infamous, Fred Perry stopped selling shirts with the yellow logo on black background in North America. The shirt itself became a symbol of violence. Even a clothing company that was safe from the far-right gangsters suffered massive damage.

3. Enrique Tarrio, the former chairman of the Proud Boys, once covered the issue with great importance by the U.S. media during protests against the presidential election. He was a good talker with neat manners, not a gangster. However, he was indicted on charges of masterminding the riot at the U.S. Capitol on January 6, 2021 and sentenced to 22 years in prison. He claimed that he was not in Washington at the time of the riot, but the fact that he orchestrated the riot will be extremely punishable. He is currently being held in a federal prison in Kentucky. He has demonstrated that the U.S. will not tolerate political thugs' violent acts.

4. A group named the Anti-Communist Youth Corps held a press conference at the National Assembly today with the help of former Rep. Kim Min. They came out wearing a safety helmet and it was seen as a symbol of the ability to use physical force. They even say that the white-gold team will be operated as a subordinate organization. Overall, it is a fake Proud Boys. Many people still remember the infamous "white-golden team," a political thug, and it is shocking that an incumbent lawmaker debuted a group that pursues such violent groups at a press conference at the National Assembly. Even in the U.S., it is hard to imagine having the Proud Boys hold a press conference at the Federal Capitol. While the Proud Boys chairman, Enrique Tarrio, is serving a 22-year prison sentence, I wonder what kind of punishment will be given if the white-gold team stops actual law enforcement in a violent way.
