During President Trump's

During President Trump's press conference that just came up on Jan. 22, Korean time (around 5 p.m. on Jan. 21 in Eastern Time), things about AI and semiconductors finally began to be mentioned. He announced the so-called "Stargate" project, and the core of this project, which is worth a whopping $500 billion (W700 trillion, not $50 billion), coincides with the strong intention of the United States to take over more than AI, the ecosystem and initiative of AGI.

Today's deal is over.... I've been leading my sick leg over the weekend and borrowing a lot of books about existence from the library, so I'm thinking of diving into the world of philosophy for the first time in a long time.

I know that post-fascism is a hot topic among political scientists these days. In the book "Post-Capital Fascism" by Professor Mikel Bolt Rasmussen of the University of Copenhagen, Denmark, Trump was defined as a fascist. It has re-emerged the "extreme nationalism of trying to rebuild imaginary organic communities by excluding foreigners" and "Nazi symbols Swastika and Zig Heil salutes have been replaced by MAGA hats, memes of frog Pepe, boat parades, or mandatory pork meals in public schools. We don't have Nazi extermination camps. Instead, we have migrant camps, and we have prisons where guards kill inmates and take humiliating photos of inmates." They are talking about a similar fascism, although it is different from Hitler's days. If the separation between male superiority, class, and race is the essence and radio, a propaganda tool during Hitler's time, is now replaced by social media such as Facebook and X, I think Trump supporters in the U.S. and our national flags will be these post-capitalist fascists.

We are now arguing for left-right ideologies and talking plausible justifications, but it is a nice-looking breakdown and is actually being played by forces that encourage the fight against regions, classes, ages, and genders. Regional discrimination, aside from the Park Chung-hee era, has been prominent in every aspect of women's educational opportunities, and the most pitiful thing is that mean boys are fighting for gender issues such as military stores. That's why Lee Jun-seok hates it. And the biggest problem is not the confrontation between the rich and the poor, but the separation between the little and the very poor, and the brainwashing of legacy newspapers and conservatives that the poor are not because of the very rich but because of the people who are a little better off. It's a foolish thing to think that rich people are something to yearn for and beyond.

The article became a political story for no reason, but I wanted to talk about existence, which was originally ended by Descartes, but the article went up in smoke. Does AI brain exist in the AI era or is it just a mechanical mechanism? I was going to talk about whether the robot brain exists, but can I call it a brain, but anyway, the world is post-capitalist fascism... I go from the real world to the imaginary world. Fight...

The main pillars of this project are OpenAI (+MS), SoftBank, and Oracle. While it may seem natural that open AI is included, it is noteworthy that it includes a Japanese company, SoftBank, and Oracle, a DB and server solutions company. As President Trump said at the conference, the core value of this project is that the United States will not take the lead in the world even in the post-AI era, and underlies American security. One thing to note is that this security value not only mentions the United States but also its allies (not listed as specific allies). This means that it will inherit the technology-security philosophy of the former Biden administration (i.e., U.S.-allied technology + economic security) and add more strategic weight to AI and related technologies more clearly. On the other hand, on the pessimistic side, it can be interpreted that a country (or a country's enterprise) that does not have enough sincerity, skills or capital to contribute to the strategic goal that has been nailed down as the U.S.-led AI, or AGI, should not think about entering the U.S.-led arena.

As for SoftBank, which is also an IT company and a pillar of the Stargate Project, there were many expectations that it would somehow enter the AI business promoted by Trump's second-term government, as Masayoshi Son, who is also an IT company, had already announced a massive investment plan during his visit to Trump's Mar-a-Lago residence in Florida last year. The announcement said that SoftBank's role goes beyond mere participation, with Masayoshi Son taking over as chairman of the Stargate Project and concurrently serving as financial management (that is, capital raising and investment responsibility). It simply means that SB will go beyond being a part of the U.S.-led AI business as a main player. Naturally, it includes works that the Japanese government has painstakingly lobbied for since Trump's first term (then under the Abe administration). Japan, for example, has consistently made various policy attempts to boost Japan's IT industry, particularly the semiconductor industry, during the first Trump administration and throughout the former Biden administration. In fact, the government has spent the past five years re-establishing the semiconductor manufacturing ecosystem in Japan with public funds (JASM with TSMC, Hiroshima Micron Fab expansion grant, Hokkaido Rappiders Fab, PSMC joint venture, etc.) Against this backdrop, Masayoshi Son's SB as a private investor was included in the Stargate, but the government's strategic plan behind it should also be taken into account. The basic rationale behind the strategy is that it would be difficult for the U.S. to fully reshor the AI and semiconductor industries (cost-wise and difficulty in building supply chain ecosystems), so Japan will be in charge of some, and instead Japan will become the most important partner in the U.S.-led supply chain restructuring, reclaiming its former glory in a new round led by AI or AGI. SB's rise to Stargate has given Japan a foothold in this strategy that the government has worked on for more than eight years.

Oracle is another axis of this project. Many people believe that Oracle is a typical B2B company and is limited to areas such as DB management and server solutions, but I understand that Oracle has a huge accumulation of technology and capital because it has a very dominant influence in this area. Early last year, I happened to meet a consultant from Oracle at a forum, and he told me about the massive amount of capital accumulated in Oracle. When I asked if Oracle would invest its accumulated capital in the AI business, the consultant told me that it was natural and that Oracle seemed to be looking beyond. At the time, I vaguely thought that 'beyond' was talking about AI servers or server-to-server communication systems. However, looking at what came out today, it is a completely different area. In other words, advanced bio is mentioned. In the end, a cancer vaccine tailored to each individual is mentioned as the main application of advanced bio using AI. I've been arguing for a while in cutting-edge bio as the next battlefield for AI, but I thought the main player would be a combination of AI companies like DeepMind and existing biotech. Oracle is coming in here, though. Rather, it is interesting to note that Google DeepMind is not mentioned in Stargate. Based on the AI platforms "provided" by Open AI and SB, Oracle analyzes/predicted genetic information analyzed at the individual gene level and makes an mRNA-based cancer vaccine into an automated (probably AI) robot-based manufacturing process for 480,000. It would have been like science fiction a few years ago, but because it is now close to a technology that has already been realized, it is a matter of capital, no longer a matter of technology realization. However, the fact that Oracle comes in here means that Oracle will change the traditional business model and lead a new business model altogether.

In the second half of last year, at the end of Biden's predecessor, major U.S. IT companies jointly set up a new AI accelerator standard called UA LINK, led by Nvidia (the reference is Nvidia's NV LINK). It's clear what UA LINK borrowed.) It has broken through the AI accelerator monopoly market and built its own level of AI accelerator hardware
