U.S. stocks closed lower for the third straight session, with Powell's speech and the Good Friday shutdown set to take place. Investors are looking to save themselves this week as there is also a PCE price index release. The Conference Board March consumer confidence index was 104.7, well below expectations of 107.0.

Looking at the stock market moves, Tesla rose more than 3% at the top of the market cap. It has announced that it will offer a free month to use its self-driving service. It's funny that there hasn't been an issue with Tesla recently, but even these trivial issues have pushed its stock price higher. On the other hand, Fisker, an American electric car startup that was on the verge of bankruptcy, has been delisted. The electric car market seems to have entered a very painful chicken game. Tesla will be the winner, but the process may be very painful.

Viking Therapeutics (VKTX) rose 16% after the company announced positive clinical results for its obesity treatment. Personally, it's a stock I'm interested in with Super Microcomputer (SMCI), but both stocks are so volatile that it can be hard to timing them wrong. However, I think both stocks are edgy.

This week, interest rates and stock prices are flowing without much change. Big indicators such as PCE this week and employment next week and Samsung Electronics' performance are waiting. We need to take a good look at where the market, which is struggling between Goldilocks and Reflection, will take its direction.
